So, the day his friend was opening his new apartment, he insisted on going to his friend’s house as he was his best friend. In the middle of the occasion, some minutes after he took a quantity of alcoholic wine, he slumped and was rushed to the hospital, but he couldn’t make it.

When I saw him lying lifeless in the hospital, I was numb and in big shock. I cried and cried because he was so dear to me, and the pain was so much for me to bear. All my effort to cope without him seems like a blur for months. The first year this happened, I felt like my life was meaningless and no reason to live again.

I really went through emotional trauma trying to figure out what my new life would be like without him. I never thought I would ever fully recover again. Right now, I have no other option than to just accept the reality and make myself happy and stronger again.

Now, I have come to realize that I relied solely on him for many things in my life, like repairing my cars, generators, my business, etc. It was the worst moment of my life.

I went through a series of cancellations before I could erase a huge part of my thoughts about him from my head and learn how to do those things myself. While the day-to-day activities of life are somehow easy to get through for me. It’s quite tough dealing with the reality that we can’t be together again. I have gradually found ways to cope with reality and have decided to move on with my life again.
